1. NARENDRA MODI

A 70-year-old leader, Prime Minister of India since 2014 is known for his charisma and inspiring speeches. Unlike many Indian prime ministers who came from a wealthy background, Modi was born in poverty. He helped his father sell tea at the station before pursuing his political ambitions. 

In 2001 he became the Chief Minister of Gujarat state of India. He received praise for encouraging outside investments, and more tourism in the area. Modi was re-elected 3 times as chief Minister of Gujarat until 2014, when he assumed the position of Indian Prime Minister.

So far Modi has succeeded in grading down on government corruption and red tape. Yet despite his humble beginnings, he has yet to successfully address lower caste issues, labor laws, sanitation, Triple talaq bill, CAA, educational empowerments bill, and The Indian agriculture acts of 2020 or Farm bill.

2. SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT

The suicide case of Sushant was one of the mostly searched news in 2020. Sushant Singh Rajput was one of the 3 heroes of ‘Kai po che’ his debut movie. Came from a television serial.

Sushant has tread his path very carefully and sensibly. From television he stepped to the films whether it was ‘Kai po che’ ‘PK’ ‘Shudh desi romance’ or ‘MS Dhoni’ he left his remarkable footprint. His acting was praised in every film. Some of them were box office hits. He achieved stardom in Bollywood without any god fathers.

3. KANGANA RANAUT

Kangana came forward with a lot of controversies in the case of sushant and nepotism which remarked her as a bold actress. In her first movie itself she proved that she was a mind blowing actress. At the age of 17 she initiated to work in films and was awarded the Film fare best debut award. 

All her films proved Kangana as an outstanding actress. She was recipient of National Film Awards twice. Surely she is one of such heroines who doesn’t require a great actor, she is the heroine and hero of the movie. Her exceptional screen presence and nature soon grabbed her a lot of media attention and currently, she has been making the headlines due to her personal life.

4. SUNDAR PICHAI

Sundar Pichai became an internationally known figure following the phenomenal success of chrome which became the No.1 browser in the world. He is the current CEO of Google Inc. born on July 12, 1972 in Tamil nadu, India. He was a bright student. He excelled academically at his school. Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan placed a seat in the Indian institute of technology, one of the most prestigious engineering institutions in India.

He used to remember numbers and could remember every telephone number he dialed when he was young. He initially planned to get his Ph.D. from Stanford.

He joined Google in 2004. Initially he worked on Google’s search toolbar as a part of a small team. The toolbar gave users of internet explorer and Firefox easy access to search. He also worked on other products like Google Gears and Google Pack. The success gave Pichai the idea that Google should develop its own browser. Pichai played a pivotal role in the ultimate launch of the browser, Google chrome in 2008. It proved a great success.

5. MUKESH DHIRUBHAI AMBANI

Mukesh Ambani chairs and runs oil and gas giant reliance industries. He received a BE degree in chemical engineering from the institute of chemical technology. He earns more than $ 17 million a day. His total net worth in 2020 in a day is $77.3 billion which makes him the fifth richest man in the world. 

6. MS DHONI

Success of a ticket collector who used to work for Indian railways bit later became the most successful Indian captain. Dhoni was born on 7th July, 1981 in Bihar. Since childhood he had been a great fan of Adam Gilchrist, Sachin Tendulkar, Latha Mangeshkar and Amitabh Bachchan. He used to like sports from the beginning of his studies. He used to play both badminton and football. He used to be a goalkeeper. Because of these skills a local cricket club selected him as a wicket keeper for cricket. 

BCCI had a program to find good talent from small towns. When Prakash Poddar, was the captain of Bengal team in 1906 saw Dhoni’s talent where he created wonders, as the Indian team needed a wicket keeper batsman and chose him.

Dhoni made records while he played for Indian team who later became the captain and currently retired. Cricket is described as a game of fate. But Mahindra Singh Dhoni used his talent to shape a new fate of Indian cricket.

7. RATAN TATA

If there is one person whom every startup enthusiast idealities, that must be Ratan Tata, who is one of the most successful business persons in the world. He was born on 28th December 1937.

Since childhood Tata was always interested in cars. He began his career in the year 1960 in the Tata group. He worked as a general worker in Tata steel.

With his flawless leadership skills Tata group rose new heights to become a global brand across the world. Acquired many big brands under his leadership.  Though Tata was earlier just to have risen because of his surname. World saw the Tata group rise to new horizons through his excellent vision and leadership. A true businessman has a clear strategy vision and commitment. He stands as an example of true success achieved with what it takes.

8. AMITABH BACHAN

 An actor who endured rejection but he became the megastar of the century. Whom we know as Amitabh Bachchan. He was born on 11 october1942 in Allahabad. He started his career with ‘Saath Hindustani’. His remarkable acting in Zanjeer made him an action movie star in 1972. In the 1980s, he stepped forward to politics where Bachchan held a seat in the Indian Parliament. Later he started his own production company. He returned back to acting in 1997, with Mrityudaata. In 2000, he began hosting the ‘Kaun Banega Crorepathi’ the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

9. RAJNIKANTH

He was named Shivaji Rao Gaikwad and was born on 12th December in 1950. He is one of the most influential movie stars in Indian cinema. Rajinikanth’s mass popularity and appeal is largely drawn from his mannerisms and his dialogue delivery had resulted in a large number of fan base. He is a recipient of many awards including India’s third highest honor, the Padma Bhushan, for his contribution to Indian cinema. Moving apart, Rajinikanth also worked as a film producer, screenwriter and also a playback singer.

10. RAM KOVIND

A person with his humble nature and quest to serve the country has become the 14th president of independent India. Mr. Ram Nath was nominated as the presidential nominee by the ruling party and won the 2017presidential election against Meira Kumari. Kovind won the election with 65.5% of total vote. He was born on 1st October 1945 in UP. Kovind graduated in law. After graduation he started preparation for civil services and cleared but didn’t join. He was selected for allied services instead of IAS. He started his career as a lawyer and provided free legal aid to weaker sections of the society. He joined BJP in 1991. Kovind has also tasted some failures but with his humble nature and quest to serve the nation kept him moving slowly and steadily to one of the biggest post ‘The president of India’.

11. NIRMALA SITHARAMAN

Nirmala is the 2nd woman to become the finance minister after Indira Gandhi in India. She is also the first female to be appointed as full-time Women Defence minister in 2017. Hailing from Tamil nadu, Nirmala did her graduation in 1984 from JNU. She did her Ph.D. from the London school of economics. While working as a salesgirl at a store, she took on the test of a translator in BBC Radios Tamil division.

Nirmala was always interested in the subject of women empowerment.  Nirmala joined the BJP in 2006 and became the national spokesperson and since 2016, she has served as Rajyasabha MP. From being a regular Madurai girl to being a finance minister she has come a long way.

12. YOGI ADITYANATH

Yogi Adityanath chief minister of Uttar Pradesh since 19 March 2017, is an Indian priest and a politician with an image as a Hindu Nationalist Firebrand. He is also the founder of Hindu Yuva Vahini’. He was born on 5th June 1972. Yogi was designated as the successor of Mahant Avaidyanath. He was appointed Avaidyanath’s successor as Mahant of Gorakhnath Math in 1994. 4 years later in 1998, he was elected to Lok sabha. Yogi has strained relations with BJP for many years. He was the youngest member of the 12th Lok sabha at age of 26. He has been elected to the parliament from Gorakhpur for 5 consecutive terms.

13. JYOTIRADITYA SCINDIA

Son of former Congress leader Madhavrao Scindia. Jyotiraditya became a sensation when he resigned from the Congress party to join the BJP. Guna constituency seat was vacated on 30 September 2001 due to the sudden demise of his father, MP Madhavrao Scindia, in an airplane accident in Uttar Pradesh. He then formally joined the Congress Party and was elected to the Lok Sabha Parliament from Guna in 2002. He defeated the person competing to him Desh Raj Singh Yadav of the Bharatiya Janata Party, by a margin of around 450,000 votes.

14. GAUTHAM ADANI

Gautham Shanthilal Adani is a well-known Indian industrialist and was born on 24 June 1962. He is the chairman and founder of Adani Group, an Ahmedabad-based multinational conglomerate. As a teenager, Adani moved to Mumbai to work as a diamond sorter for Mahindra Brothers. He worked there for 2-3 years before establishing his own diamond broker firm at Zaveri Bazar, Mumbai. This decision of his career made him who he is today. Later he started running a franchise for his brother and broke into the global trading market by selling polyvinyl chloride. He was readily climbing the ladder of success. They focused on agricultural commodities but in the coming years, they expanded greatly.

He faced adversity with strength and will power in a matter of few tears. The Adani group diversified into many sectors later. He worked hard and built his way upwards.

15. Dr ROY

Dr Roy was known as the ‘architect of modern Bengal’, he was the pre-eminent physician of his time and a visionary whose towering personality dominated Bengal’s political landscape.

Roy, though a reluctant and ‘part-time’ politician he was more dedicated to his medical profession was firmly in Congress. But while sharing very warm personal ties with Gandhiji, his relationship with Nehru was very ambivalent, especially after 1947.
