When will Covid Pandemic end
The ongoing pandemic is exceeding the whole lives both physically and mentally. Peoples have been reporting high levels of anxiety due to the covid19. As a matter of whole everybody wants to go back to things as usual but the virus will not just go back miraculously go away as Trump said it is here to stay. COVID-19 will still be prevalent in 2021, but it will be more manageable than in 2020.
According to the pathological background, the researchers are gathering the data and information about the virus and how it affects people which happens every day in the frontlines and there is a global collaboration behind it. Back in February 2020, Chinese scientists were the first to share the virus genome, they learned about how an infected patient responds to treatments.
The pandemic will not be over until it’s over all around the globe. There are research groups who have been working since January 2020 to develop a vaccine. Scientists in the US and Europe as well as China, Russia and Australia all locked in the race to fight the pandemic. Normally it takes years to develop a vaccine. But this time humanity could not wait that long. The wealthy government around the world poured billions into research. National pride and propaganda played a crucial role as the international race for a vaccine gathered speed.
Medical research became the focus of the international community as never before and the pressure on the scientists grew. As the political rhetoric increased, there was growing concern that the rush to have a vaccine might lead to compromises on safety and adequate trials. Russia gave preliminary approval to its vaccine before it had gone through the all important phase, the three clinical trials where the vaccine is tested on the thousands of people that contravened international procedures. Chins also began administering two vaccines to members of the military and medical personnel all before the clinical trial were complete. The US Donald Trump administration pumped billions into its speed program to procedure vaccines and secure US manufacturers in the pole position.
Vaccines have created hope in the mindsets of the people. According to Bloomberg they have built the biggest database of Covid-19 shots given around the world, with more than 119 million doses administered worldwide. US science officials such as Anthony Fauci have suggested it will take 70% to 85% coverage of the population for things to return to normal. Bloomberg’s Vaccine Tracker shows that some countries are making far more rapid progress than others, using 75% coverage with a two dose vaccine as a target. Israel, the country with the highest vaccination rate in the world, is headed for 75percent coverage in just two months.
The US will reach 75 per cent coverage marked by the end of 2021. It shows that developed countries are rolling out vaccines more rapidly. In countries like Canada, the vaccination drive has slowed down. A crucial reason for the vaccination getting slower is the constraints of the manufacturing and supply of Covid-19. In vaccine-manufacturing hubs of India and Mexico, the manufacturing of vaccines is getting speedier.
The WHO (World Health Organization) regional director for Europe said he believes the coronavirus outbreak will end in early 2022. Stating that the worst scenarios are now over, Kluge said there is more information concerning the virus compared to 2020, when it first began spreading.
He cautioned, however, that no one can know the future of the COVID-19 pandemic in advance.
Though Covid was an uninvited guest, something that came unexpectedly it would be dramatic now to admit that Covid is a permanent .This will not be over soon.
