The one person who the world follows and will be followed forever.  A lot of great personalities have taken inspiration from him like Subhash Chandra Bose, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mahatma Gandhi, a well-known scientist Tesla and many more.  He was a key figure in the introduction of Indian philosophy of Vedanta and yoga to the Western world. He told people to know God, leave the luxury and everyone should come forward and uplift humanity. He was very kind hearted.  One of his incidents is whenever he would see a monk or Sanyasi Swamiji used to give all the things he had.

Vivekananda was born on 12th January 1863 a few moments before sunrise. His birthname was Narendranath Dutt. He had many visions.  He visualized Bhagwan Gautam Buddha in front of him talking.  One of his visions while sleeping was that one man is living a luxurious life, is married, and well settled. Another vision was that another person left everything and started to walk on the path of God.  The process of becoming a Sanyasi started right from his childhood.  He was very brilliant and a favorite of teachers.  His literacy work Bhakti yoga, Karma Yoga, Raja Yoga are famous. He was not very religious at first. It started when he entered college.

Nationalism was a prominent theme in Vivekananda thoughts. Vivekananda assumed that a country’s future depends on its people, and his teachings aimed at Human Development.  He wanted to set in motion and machinery which will bring noblest ideas to the doorstep of even the poorest and the meanest.  Vivekananda linked goodness with control of the mind, seeing truth, purity and unselfishness as treats which strengthen it.  He advised his followers to be holy and unselfish and to have faith.  He claimed that success was an impact of focused thought and action.
