As soon as the end of the IPL, India still has a bursting scheduled to go on. During the month of June to July 2021, India may have to travel to Lord’s for the ICC World Test Championship final against New Zealand. After the end of the Asia Cup, India will tour Zimbabwe for three ODIs in the month of July 2021. But it is expected that most of the senior players will ignore the tour as they will be preparing for other major series.

From July 2021 to September, India will be traveling to England for a five-Test series which will be arduous. This is going to be the first series in the new ICC World Test Championship cycle and they will have to hope for the best that they can get ahead of England this time after three failed attempts in 2011, 2014, and 2018.

October 2021 will be the month where India will present South Africa for three ODIs and five Twenty20 Internationals.

October to November 2021 India, for the second time, will be hosting the ICC World T20, after hosting it in 2016. West Indies are the existing champions and they will again get an opportunity to protect it again.

India will then host New Zealand for two Tests and three T20Is from November to December 2021. When the series comes to an end, India will then tour South Africa for three Tests and three Twenty20 Internationals. This would be a great window of opportunity for India to finally defeat the one nation where they have never won a series.
